AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is the content side of the same shift. When people ask a question instead of scanning ten links, the page that carries an extractable answer wins - not the longest landing page.
In practice: one question per section, a direct answer in the first sentences, then evidence and a boundary. FAQ schema only helps when the visible questions match the markup. Conflict between the H1, the meta and the body is costlier for models than for humans, because the extractor takes the first consistent block.
AEO does not replace authority. A perfectly structured page with no independent mentions stays invisible. PR does little if your own site never states the service in a citable sentence.
SOURCE/01 by GlasBox (Search) checks whether the information architecture can carry answers. SOURCE/01 by GlasBox (AI) checks whether models actually use them. Selling the two separately leaves a blind spot.
