Frequently asked questions

AI Visibility, controlled knowledge systems and Web Entry.

How does GlasBox work?
In four steps:
  1. Measure: Assess technical, local and AI visibility — or knowledge access.
  2. Prioritise: Only actions with clear usefulness and realistic effort come first.
  3. Implement: Agreed work in clear steps.
  4. Verify: Evidence, measurements and documented next decisions.
What makes GlasBox different from a traditional agency?
GlasBox focuses on AI Visibility (SEO/GEO) and controlled RAG knowledge systems. Web Entry provides the supporting digital foundation.
How do I start?
With an introductory call or the free AI Visibility Short Check. The conversation clarifies whether visibility, Web Entry or a RAG system should come first.
What does SEO/GEO cooperation cost?
The SEO/GEO Setup Audit costs CHF 2'450, one-time. The ongoing mandate starts from CHF 1'500 per month. Exact ongoing scope is agreed after the audit. RAG systems and Web Entry are scoped individually after the introductory call.
What is the difference between the Short Check and the Setup Audit?
The free Short Check reviews one domain against three commercially relevant AI-search questions, observed mentions and visible sources, and delivers three initial findings. It does not include a full crawl or a complete implementation roadmap. The SEO/GEO Setup Audit (CHF 2'450, one-time) covers technical analysis, an AI/GEO baseline and a prioritised 90-day plan.
Who owns the code and design?
You do. Ownership and usage rights are defined contractually and transfer after full payment according to the agreed scope. We work for exit resilience: code, access and documentation are prepared so you can operate the platform yourself or have it developed further by another team where included in the project scope. Details can be found in our Terms & Conditions.
Is my data stored in Switzerland automatically?
No. We work Swiss-first and nDSG-aware: hosting, analytics and AI services can use different locations. Data flows are documented before work starts. This is not a residency or compliance guarantee and not legal advice.
Is there a warranty on the developed software?
Yes. According to our Terms (§5.2), we provide a warranty period of 6 months from acceptance for software errors (bugs) attributable to our code. Excluded are errors caused by subsequent updates from external third parties (e.g., browser updates or external API changes).
Who is liable for the content (images, texts) on the website?
According to our Terms (§3.1), the responsibility for the legal compliance (copyright, trademark law) of the content, texts, and images provided by you lies entirely with you as the client.
What is Web Entry?
The supporting digital foundation for visibility and enquiries: a clear service structure, crawling, structured data and a single contact path. Scope depends on the starting point, objectives and technical requirements.
When should Web Entry come before SEO/GEO?
When the offer, page structure or enquiry path is unclear. Then a visibility audit mainly measures gaps in the foundation.
How is Web Entry scope determined?
Individually after the introductory call. It depends on the starting point, objectives and technical requirements.
We already have a website. What next?
Then the free AI Visibility Short Check or the paid SEO/GEO Setup Audit is often the next step — not a new website package.
Can you guarantee a number-one ranking or an AI citation?
No. Rankings, AI mentions, enquiries and ROI depend on competition, content, authority and third parties. We deliver measurable foundations and documented observations — no guarantees.
What does SEO/GEO cost?
The Setup Audit costs CHF 2'450 one-time. The ongoing mandate starts from CHF 1'500 per month. Exact ongoing scope is agreed after the audit.
What does the free Short Check include?
One domain, three commercially relevant AI-search questions, observed mentions and sources, three initial findings. No full crawl, no complete implementation roadmap, and no ranking or AI-mention guarantee.
How long does visible SEO work take?
Technical fixes can show Search Console signals within weeks. Sustainable visibility in competitive markets usually needs several months of consistent work. This is a guide, not a guaranteed timeline.
Does AI visibility require special GEO schema?
No. Google continues to rely on the foundations of SEO: helpful content, crawlability, indexability and a clear technical structure. Structured data should match visible content and may support eligible search features. There is no special schema for AI visibility.
How does GlasBox measure AI visibility?
We define commercially relevant questions and record the market, language, region, system and time. We then review mentions, visible sources, cited pages and recurring gaps. These observations are combined with technical findings and available first-party data.
Is an AI Visibility Score a guarantee?
No. A score only summarises a defined observation panel. Results depend on the selected questions, systems, markets and measurement dates. We therefore document assumptions and limitations and do not promise rankings or citations.
What is a RAG system?
RAG first retrieves approved company information and then forms an answer. That makes statements more traceable and easier to constrain. AI output remains probabilistic and needs human review for important decisions.
When is RAG useful — and when is it not?
RAG is useful when teams repeatedly search documents for authoritative answers that must remain grounded in approved sources and constrained by access rules. A clear FAQ or process handbook may be better when the knowledge base is small or questions are infrequent. We clarify suitability and scope in the introductory call.
Does this mean no-training and Swiss servers?
No, not automatically. Swiss hosting or on-premise are conditional architecture choices based on the required protection level. No-training language applies only where the provider and agreement support it. Data flows are documented.
What happens if the system does not know the answer?
It should refuse or say “I do not know” and escalate to a responsible person rather than guess.
